Let's see how the movie last night fits:
I pointed out to Mrs. Mac, they even follow the same time schedule, nearly down to the minute.
5-8 minutes in, the strangers, or long lost "friends" meet.
Yep - Her car slid off the road in front of his house. His dog showed her the way. She is back from Afganistan, but had to leave her EOD dog "Christmas" there rather than bringing him home because of a shortage of dogs.
Next 20-30 minutes, they build on those intimate encounters with longing looks.
Yep, her car is going to take until Christmas to get fixed, she has to stay in his guest cottage. Wow, he's the town judge and *still* young and cute!
Right about 35 minutes into the show, there is a drama moment. Usually with their current, or a recent ex, mate/lover/whateva
Yep - Ex Fiancee is back in town!!! (She had run off with a court reporter)
12 minutes before the end of the show, one of them realizes (or is told) how they are being stupid and should just go for it.
Close , they both realize it, but don't do anything about it. (Much to his family's disgust)
10 minutes before the end, they just miss each other reuniting.
Yep, She overhears his side of a call he gets and thinks the Fiancee is back in the picture. so heads for the bus out of town. He finds out and sends the sheriff after her!!
8-5 minutes before the end of the show, they re-unite and ride off into the sunset.
Sheriff gets her off the bus and brings her to the Town Christmas Eve Party where he confesses his love and brings out Christmas! He has pulled strings to get him back.
Yea! The End.
