Most Latinos in the US used to identify as Catholic. Not anymore.

As the "organized" religions such as the Catholic church and the United Methodist Church have such internal division from man - made conflicts, I think many are getting disenchanted with religion. The Liberal religion of "you are the only one who matters to you" is also sucking a lot of people in.

The God fearing Christians have our work cut out for us to recover from this mess.

There is a significant increase in Hispanics leaving the Catholic Church for protestant churches. That's why the church I worship at is considering opening a church for Hispanics.

Their kids are getting the exact same indoctrination in the American school system as the rest of the kids. Why would it be any less

I will say, at my hotel, we have pictures of Jesus and Mother Mary in every area that the employees work that is only for employees. Our Mexican workers still pray and want Jesus in their life.

The younger generation though, it is not for them, but they don't speak against it. Those are the ones who speak English and were educated in American schools. They wear masks still.
