It was a pure blessing to be able to sing with the guys again. The group formed in the mid 90's as the Peach State Quartet before becoming The Pioneers under group ownership in 2000. We presented over 100 dates per year and traveled the Southeast from Mississippi to Florida and every state in between for the next 6 years. That was at least two programs per weekend for that 6 year period. We all would have loved to sing full time, but there is no decent living to be made in Southern Gospel music unless you are Bill Gaither. After being off the road for almost 20 years, we got back together at Hiram First Baptist and as strange at it seems, dropped back into the singing like it never had stopped. What fun it was
