I keep waiting for truckload freight costs to subside but so far no luck. Lanes which we regularly moved for $2-$2.50 per mile a year ago are now costing $4/m or more. I’m just hoping customers don’t go belly up leaving the transportations companies holding the bag as most are unsecured contracts and agreements. Some of our suppliers are telling us to buckle up, this is only the beginning of the hyperinflation.
