2 roosters

unionmom

Pursuit Driver
1 Black Orpington
1 Silkie

I'd like a few dollars out of it if possible but more than anything I need them to go to good homes and soon. They are both crowing now. The Orp is a very mild mannered boy. The Silkie is a bit more dominant.

The Orp hatched in June and the Silkie in August.

that is one thing I have never said I wanted ....I have never said I wanted a live roostrer/chicken lol

good luck finding them a good home.. in paulding county this shouldn't be hard to do

The Orp is going to be easier, I'm guessing. Orpingtons are fantastic egg producers so if somebody has flock/hen that they want to reproduce from, he'd be perfect.

i will take your word on it... i do not know the language you speak lol

We can't have roos. I have a few friends that raise chickens. I will mention it to them if you would like.

So I can tell them, what are you wanting for each of them?

The Silkie is free. If they want to get an idea of his line, he came from Farmer John in Villa Rica. (He sells like crazy on Craigslist ... some gorgeous birds.)

The Orp ... I'll be perfectly honest in saying that I'm not 100% sure that I'm ready to let him go yet. :soashamed The right situation, I'd like to see $20 for him. He comes from an amazing breeder in California who sells her birds for $75+. (I have this fantasy that with the Silkie gone he won't crow quite as much and might buy me some time. Realistically, that's just not going to happen. He needs to go. If my situation changes I'll just get more eggs from the breeder and keep whatever I get. He's just soooooo nice compared to the other one that I had.)

MamaHog ... I appreciate it but don't stress about it. The bigger of the two problems is resolved. And since I'm still undecided on the Orp it may be best to let things lay for a bit and see how it goes.

You're awesome for trying. :)
