5 Greatest Muscle Cars Of The '70s (And 5 That Belong In A Junkyard)

Some of those are pretty cool cars. I'd like to have one too....that's partly why I'm building a 3 car garage with the new house. One spot for my truck, one spot for a nice normal car, and one spot for a classic car. Not sure which one, but I've always wanted a 65 Mustang.

Some of those cars are pretty cool. Funny thing is if you could take a modern day Toyota Camry back in time to when those were being made, the Camry would be faster than most of them.

I drag raced both the Trans Am and the Boss. The Trans Am had the 6.6 liter motor in 77 produced only 200 horsepower. The 70 Boss 302 which was a smaller engine than the Trans Am's produced 290 horsepower. It was much faster than the Trans Am.

I totaled my friends Chevy Chevelle, flipped it twice and landed upside down in a ditch. The 8-track still worked though. So I guess I can say I owned one since I had to pay him $1500 for a wrecked one. It sat in our backyard for 2 or 3 years before I finally sold it to a farmer for spare parts (at least that was his story).
