American hostage rescued in West Africa by SEAL Team 6 in daring raid

Great story, I'm glad it was a successful recovery but I find it strange that the clip didn't address any reason for the kidnapping other than the young man lived there. I'd like to know WHY he lived there and why the government would risk a raid if he JUST lived there. Sorry but if you or I just lived there and got kidnapped they wouldn't send in the elite forces to rescue us. There is more to this story.
