I am hearing reports on Fox News that the Americans held for days by Somali Pirates aboard their yacht have been killed. Details to follow. Not sure they know much yet.

Here is one news report on it:

There were more than a dozen pirates on board, some dead and others captured, Martin reports.
The Americans were Scott Adam and his wife, Jean, of Marina del Rey, Calif.; and Phyllis Macay and Bob Riggle, both of Seattle

...The two couples, Phyllis Macay and Robert Riggle, of Seattle, and the yacht's owners Jean and Scott Adams of California were on an around-the-world sailing trip when they were captured by pirates Friday.

U.S. officials said the pirates shot and killed all four hostages, and all the pirates had either been killed or captured by U.S. forces...

Yes, same people.
Now I am confused. I have to read the other thread again.
Different Topic. It was on why anyone would sail in those waters since there are pirates there. Sorry to have confused you. ;D
I am confused as to how they were killed if we were trailing them, and why the news isn't reporting a bunch of dead pirates.

Some news outlets are. I haven't seen much on the TV about it though.

How can you negotiate/discuss things with people who think like this:
"The killing of those four Americans and our comrades is a fair game that has started. Everybody will react if his life is in danger. We should not agree to be killed and let the hostages be freed," a pirate called Hussein told Reuters from Hobyo, another Somali coastal pirate haven."

You can't! Only one solution to the problem. :GUN :Stick

Where is a leader of this Nation who will stand and tell the Somalian government that either they eradicate this human garbage or WE WILL?

We have P-Bo who loves the TV camera more than all the Hollywood celebrities combind. Where is he?! Oh, that's right...he planning his trip to Ohio to support the socialist unions. He is WEAK and useless!

They need to outfit civilian boats with mounted 50 cals and just wait for those cowards to float on up :GUN
