Amy Winehouse reportedly found dead

People should be pissed at her "handlers" for allowing it to end this way. People that were around her saw her drug and alcohol abuse every day, yet chose not to do anything about.

Well, you can't control everything about a person, but I do agree...the handlers would have to bear some culpability, I should think. Morally, anyway. But hey - she was raking in the dough, and they were gettin' a percentage, so what's it to them? :sigh:

According to the article, she simply wasn't going to accept help because she didn't agree that she needed it. Everyone around her knew she was going to die eventually ... her ex even tried to have her committed.

Someone shoul have had her arrested or her record company could have ordered a random drug test.

If people really cared about her and not the money they were mooching off her, she would be alive today.

could of, should of, would of...nothing we can do now except pray for her loved ones left to deal with the media frenzy and the loss of a loved one

If a person does not acknowledge the problem, actively seek help, and accept that help, they can not be helped. It is illegal to chain a person to a bedpost, and this is the only way to keep an active addict from using. Her handlers may have been enablers, but they were in no way responsible for the state of her addiction. One defines one's own bottom. The lucky ones reach it and chose to do something about it before they die.
