Bankruptcies, Business Failures, Layoffs, etc

Probably not due to the economy, just changing times.

SiriusXM Loses 445,000 Sat Radio, 64,000 Pandora Subscribers

It's really nice, just freaking expensive. We signed up my wife's car for it after we bought it for the $7 a month intro price, but it goes to $25 a month after the intro so they will lose another subscriber right after that.

Unless you drive for a living, it's just not worth it in the car for what they want to charge.

I love mu XM Radio! Even when I'm not driving (and I don't do nearly as much of that anymore), I stream it.

We have XM radio, and use it all the time in not only the car, but the motorhome when we are traveling. We only listen to one channel, though. The old time radio channel. Best thing on the airwaves.

Are you listening to programs like The Shadow?

We had the trial for a few months on the used Highlander we purchased last year. Not in the vehicle enough to justify, it was ok - not a lot of options from what we could tell.

Sirius has been blasting us with email and snailmail offers. Right now $4 and a gift card to sign up. I was tempted, but my wife reminder me how little we would use it.

Now that my wife won’t be making the 1 1/2 round trip to her parents 3-5 times a week it might be not worth it to us. Bought the Highlander in Oct and it already has nearly 12k miles on it.

The Queen loves it, she listens to it daily. I'm not sure what she pays but we both have it on our phones, tablets, tv's, and my Harley. She pays for it so I don't ask any questions other than asking what channel she would like to listen to.
