The Biden administration has finalized a rule banning the use of fossil fuels in new and renovated federal buildings, aiming to achieve net-zero emissions by 2045.
Once again, this administration either doesn't think things all the way through, or plans to put us in the dark ages. Who is going to build the solar or windmill facilities to produce the electricity these federal building are to use. Also, how much is it going to cost to convert all these buildings to electric heat?
If the goal is to shut down every electrical plant that does not use solar or wind to produce electricity, then we will be without electricity. A solar field in Texas was destroyed by hail earlier this year. What is the environmental impact from that?
