Two things here. The first is all politicians regardless of party believe if you say something false enough it becomes true. The second is, the cost of goods we buy at the stores and the services we pay for are effected by transportation costs. When Biden stopped the pipeline from finishing and significantly reduced our oil production, it resulted in the price of oil to increase, which drove up the cost of fuel used to transport goods and services. Naturally, those costs get passed on to the consumer. While prices are increasing, wages are not, thus giving Americans less spending power. Biden and his ilk don't see it because when you're worth a few million or more, increased retail prices don't mean much.
