Biden Says Higher Corporate Taxes Won't Harm US Economy

What planet is he on?

State of Denial? Planet of Dementia?

Oh, and I love how it states that 30 major corporations paid *zero* taxes, yet he expects a rate increase to cause them to pay their "fair" share. Ah... last I checked, 28% of zero = 21% of zero = zero.

No, he's aiming at small business, not those big 30... that have large campaign contributions.

We have seen many times how tax increases result in higher unemployment numbers and government tax revenue decreasing. We have seen when there are tax reductions, unemployment numbers drop and government tax revenues increase. The Dems fail all the time when it comes to the economy. They know that all these countries in Europe they like to prop up as having a national health care plan funded by the government have something else in common and much different than the US. That happens to be all those countries have corporate tax rates half of what ours are. The people in those countries pay much more in taxes than we do as well. The leaders of those countries knows what happens when you increase corporate taxes you lose jobs, therefore you lose tax revenue because people can't pay taxes if they have no income.

The members of the Democratic Party think just because some policy failed in every country that tried it, they can do it better. It's that thinking that keeps hurting this country and its people. What's really, really said is how stupid the people who vote for Democrats are. What good is higher education, work experience and high skills if you can't get a job because the Democrats once again tanked the economy?

The US is coordinating with the EU on this as part of the MMT experiment. China will eat our lunch. China, Russia, and the Petro states are in talks to replace the dollar as the defacto currency of trade. If this succeeds we will become a second tier economy. Of MMT fails as miserably as common sense and history would say, we will be in a 10 to20 year stagflation spiral that will make the great recession look like a rally.
