A mother in Atlanta filed a federal discrimination complaint against an elementary school, alleging the school segregated students based on race.

Schools with higher percentages of black students have much lower test scores and much higher dropout rates and disciplinary problems.

Well, that's probably due to the areas they are in, broken families, less parental involvement, etc. We can do better across the board.

Funny thing is though how many blacks want to go to Historically black colleges and universities.

I'm guessing that the principle did and felt the lack of distractions of interactions with other cultures was beneficial to her.

So she decided that was the way to go in elementary as well.
