A 12-year-old Paulding County boy has not been seen since around 3:45 p.m. Monday afternoon, police said late Monday.

Paulding County Sheriff's Office Paulding County deputies are asking for the public's help in locating12-year-old Noah Buran, last seen Monday afternoon near North Paulding High School.

Noah Buran was last seen Harmony Grove Church Road near North Paulding High School, Cpl. Brandon Gurley with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office said.

Noah, who is white, 5-feet-5 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds, was wearing dark gray cargo pants and a gray or black long sleeved, camouflage shirt. He was not wearing shoes.

Noah has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and reactive attachment disorder and is on medication, Gurley said.

Thanks for posting this Madea...I hope he turns up safe and sound. It's a shot in the dark, but it will give me a reason to be on the look-out on my way home tonight.

The Code Red phone call said he may have gone into the woods. But it's awfully cold just to be in a shirt, pants and no shoes. :( It's all over FaceBook too. I hope he's found soon, safe and sound.

I saw a kid wandering through the woods on the lot next to me when I was cooking dinner, I didn't pay real close attention but similar description at least. I reported it, but I hope it wasn't him since they aren't really searching by me.

He's been found. I looked up reactive attachment disorder - VERY sad and disturbing. I've been prayin' for the little feller, and not just 'cause he was outside in the cold. Or perhaps because he's been outside in the cold in more ways than one. :(

Hubby was angry that we got a call on this after 10:30 tonight. We could not see the child from our home and could do nothing to help. All it could have done is wake him up. :Ninja

I thought about looking that up too. I'm not real sure I want to know. :(

They handled this call a little differently. Possibly because it involved a missing child. But I signed up our home phone and cell phones for the code red calls. I added my son's phone in the event he wasn't with me. However, during the last storm call, after I answered on my cell, it didn't go to the other phone numbers. This one went to all phone numbers. I think you can limit the times you get the calls. At least you can with Nixle, I don't recall about Code Red. My husband wasn't real happy when the weather call woke us up at 2 am and it was basically nothing.

I did not sign up for CodeRed but we got the call on our house phone around 10:15. Neither of us were asleep yet, so it was no big deal.

I am glad they utilize this, though. Especially with a missing child.

Yeah we got the call several several times. We have a habit of not answering the phone when its a toll free number (I forgot to program the code red number in the caller id) so we didn't answer the first couple times. One thing it will not do is leave a message on your machine. It will keep calling till you answer Im guessing. It finally came to my cell around 10 something. So glad the boy was found

Seriously? Some of you guys (or your significant others) were upset about getting the calls on this and during the storm? What did you think you were signing up to get calls for? Free beer and pizza?

Really? It left a message on my machine. We never, ever answer the house phone the only people that call it are solicitors and a crazy lady.

I can tell you who will get it removed. I think Hubby has a right to his opinion in HIS home and HE did not sign on to it, I did. :rant
It was certainly a mistake on my part to post it on this message board. Good lesson for me!

I was pretty pissed as well... it was hard
for me and the baby to get back to sleep.

1. They called my house 3 times (9:30, 10:00, 10:30)
and hung up the first two times before I could answer.

2. I never signed up for any kind of alert.

3. The kid was a runaway with no shoes.

If you got the calls without signing up you absolutely should be upset about your peace in your home being disturbed by multiple calls. I totally agree with that.

And newsjunky ... I apologize for the way I responded. Nobody should feel like they can't post their views here. If I've made you feel that way it is me that made the mistake, not you.
