Dems playing politics over Coronavirus

Trump asked for $2.5 billion over the Coronavirus and Schumer and Pelosi come out condemning him saying it's not enough and it's too little to late? WTH? This stuff just goes to show how partisan the Dems really are. $2.5 billion can go a long way in preparing and fighting the virus.

Elizabeth Warren jumps on that bandwagon with, ""Like so much else, the Trump administration’s bungled response to the coronavirus outbreak is a mess," Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., tweeted. "As president, I will lead a competent administration prepared to combat outbreaks—because our public health, economy, and national security depend on it." Notice she does not give any details at all on how as president she would handle Coronavirus NOW. That's because she has no idea what to do about it. If she did, she would have jumped out and given what actions she would take to demonstrate her ability to lead rather than just give lip service.

Bloomberg's response to Trump's handling of Coronavirus, ""I led NYC through its recovery after 9/11 and the financial crisis," the billionaire tweeted Wednesday. "We faced health epidemics and weather emergencies. The key to leading in a crisis like the Coronavirus is sharing the facts, demonstrating control and trusting the experts. Unfortunately, not Trump's strong suit." I got news for Mini-Mike. He really didn't have a clue what to do following 9/11. It was the leadership of George W. Bush providing huge amounts of resources from the federal government that helped NYC through that crisis.

Yeah, I saw some of that last night and was disgusted by it.

They are desperate because they know they're in trouble, and will grasp at any and every little thing to attack him over. While many of their sheeple with take it as gospel, some are seeing just how petty they are.

So give him $5 billion and shit your damn mouth bitch. Problem solved.

Reading this makes the news coverage seem overly "political". It is hard now to know if the media is using this as "Trumpvirus," to try to get the Dems elected since nothing else bad has happened in three years of Trump, like the media keep trying to telegraph.

Dear Industry Colleague,

As you likely know, San Francisco on Tuesday declared a state of emergency due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, joining San Diego and Santa Clara counties in issuing emergency orders.

Most of these communities do not have any confirmed cases of coronavirus, but declaring a state of emergency helps prepare for a rapid response to a potential coronavirus case and makes it easier to secure emergency funding.

Notably, public health officials have not issued any guidance to avoid travel to or within the United States. There have been no coronavirus fatalities in the U.S., and the California Department of Public Health confirms that the health risk to the general public in California remains low.

Visit California will revise our projections for inbound visitation and spending as more data on the outbreak become available. Currently, even with a forecasted decline of 25%-plus in Chinese visitor spending and additional declines from other international markets, California is still expected to see an overall increase in visitor spending of 2.9% this year.

We are encouraged by reports that new cases in China are waning. Notably, many of the bookings impacted by the outbreak have been postponed, not canceled. The majority of rebookings are in May and June, providing optimism for a strong V-shaped recovery for California. Visit California is proceeding with its planned April 6 launch of our paid media campaign in China. Chinese officials have indicated the majority of flights are expected to resume by then.

Of course, this is a rapidly evolving situation, and Visit California will continue to closely monitor developments and respond appropriately.

You’ll find Visit California’s latest talking points on the situation at industry.VisitCalifornia.com/coronavirus, along with a media statement released late last week and a comprehensive overview of the situation.

Sincerely,
