Cedartown Junior League team advances at regional

Cedartown, representing the state of Georgia as the state champions, opened regional play in Greenville, S.C. by playing in three pool play games....

Unfortunately, they were defeated last night. But what a run! They were eliminated just before the final four, but represented Georgia well. I'm proud of the team. It is my hometown, but many of my childhood friends have boys on the team.

Go Cedartown!!!

Yes, the Queen works with a lady from Cedartown who has a kid on the team. Pretty impressive for a small town team, they had a great year.

How awesome!! Cedartown and Rockmart have great sports teams. Those country boys sure know how to run and handle a ball, of all kinds of shapes and sizes.
