Did the boys or mom do this?

This is a video made by a mother of 2 little boys. Her story is she arrived home from the grocery store w/ her 2 sons and had to use the bathroom immediately. When she came out of the bathroom her boys had emptied a 5lbs bag of flour in the living room.

She is an actress on a local level I believe was mentioned. There seems to be quite a few folks who think she staged this.

Did the boys really do this or is she just trying to be youtube famous?

Boys dump flour all over house

Haven't seen the video, but as the mother of a son who once emptied a large size, brand new, baby powder in his room. Well, I don't know. :laugh

I watched the families interview this morning on the Today show. She says they did it on their own. It was every where in the living room and I did think how did they do that in 5 minutes. It was so high up on pictures and such...but as someone said, never underestimate the power of two small boys. If they stood in the middle of the room and went around in circles with the bag over their head I could see them doing this to get it all the places it was...but not so sure that is what they did.

I for one would never dream of doing that just to get youtube famous...I wouldn't want to clean it up :HAHA. Also what made me think that it was staged was her reaction. She was so so calm about it all...I would have been crying :HAHA

She was calm, but it might have been shock! I would have thought it fake if she pulled the camera away and spoke to it or something along that line, but to do that to her home on purpose? She would have to be nuts. Flour is a pain to get up! Ask my child how I know. :tapfoot2

I'll watch the video in a minute. :laugh However, let me tell you that baby powder gets really high and takes a LOT of work to clean up. I suspect that flour is similar. And, surprisingly, I was very calm when I saw it. My son was less than two, and I didn't want to completely freak him out.

I think the mom did stage it.

Just look at the bag....it has been perfectly opened at the top of the bag. I see no rips or tears in that bag. The way flour bags are sealed I find it difficult myself to open without ripping. And they have spread that bag around the living room without any rips or tears, no don't think so.

I don't see any little hand prints on the sofa either. I think if they would have put it on the sofa they would have smeared it around w/ their hands.

The whole room is covered. I don't think little ones w/ their height perspective would have done it so completely.

Wouldn't little ones try to hide the bag if they were "caught"? They are shown playing with the bag on their heads and the floor.

I think we have another ballon boy parent. ::)

I'm in the "staged" camp, too. Look at the distribution on the backs of the couches. And I agree with the early comment about the way the bag was opened.

Staged. Come on now. If the kids got the bag open, there would be a large pile in one place. I don't think 2 small boys could evenly spread the flour around.

I hope Mama had her 15 minutes of fame because I'm sure it took longer than that to clean it up.
