I can remember when Earth Day was first celebrated in Paulding County. I was a Girl Scout leader and we had a celebration on the square in Dallas. Didn't get much attention, so glad someone was listening. So it was 1984, a little behind the whole movement but much appreciated.

LOL I am actually surprised how many have been willing to participate. It is a good thing. My son is hoping to have it moved to the weekend for next year. (It is on the actual date which is a weekday) The dean said that with everyone that son has convinced to come they are sure if he does it again they can get it moved to the weekend.

I think they will be at tables to speak to you about yards and plants and such. You know I think you can go in the hybrids and the rescue truck, I know a panda would enjoy that! :whistle
