Anyone having problems lately with Explorer? Lately, some websites I go to seem to take forever to load. I have broadband, so speed on my end isn't an issue.
 
I think I still have Explorer 6 on my puter at home...maybe even 5. :D I use Firefox, so I'm no help.

Hey ...we agree on sumfin.... foxfire is the bombdiggity
 
It's not IE causing the problems. I run both FF and IE 7 on my computer and when one has a problem, so does the other. When this happens It's always the connection speeds thru my ISP, which is AT&T DSL.

Go to http://www.dslreports.com/stest to do a speed test of your connection. There are also some other test on that site to check your computer, for the geek in ya!
 
Could also be pop-up or ad blockers getting bogged down by the site.

If you go with Firefox, also install adblock plus from the add-ons at their website.
 
When I installed Firefox it did not ask if I wanted to import them.

Thats weird.....I've been using foxfire for over 6 years and even though I do updates it always transfers my bookmarks..
