we will be at a pool party/cook out in Powder Springs and we just sit in their driveway and watch the fireworks =)

Marietta was a mad-house and worse than last year due to Paulding not having fireworks which is pitiful in my opinion. I ended up coming home as I could not find one spot to park.

Kinda hard to justify fireworks when you are laying off or furloughing people. Even the govt has a budget to live with. I think it was a smart move by Paulding and Hiram to not spend that kind of money.

I agree, things are rough everywhere.

We went to Powder Springs and hung with the family. It was fun! It's always crazy getting out of there. My kids are still up. Ugh.

Glad you enjoyed it! I am not a big Fireworks fan so I do not get out and mess with the crowds. I am sure the kiddos will crash soon! (for your sake. :)) )

I don't like fireworks.... The only display I have half way enjoyed was fantasmic at Hollywood studios, magic kingdom and stone mountains. I just don't get a big kick out of loud booms and lights.

I guess I am saying I would rather sit at home, cut a cd on and play with the light switch
