I just got back from my first true photography job. (Others have been really last minute.) The FFA decided to revive the "Snowball" dance. It was a semiformal affair and I was asked to take pictures.
So, I tethered the camera to my computer and set up. I had less light than promised, so I had to bump the ISO up to 400. However, I had a floor lamp from home and I purchased a 500W halogen flood light today. I hung a bedsheet from the ceiling and reflected the flood from that onto the kids. The other light provided general lighting from the other direction.
It wasn't couples photography. It was mostly groups of friends. I might sell just enough pictures to pay for my $30 floodlight!
If I remember, I'll post a few pictures tomorrow in the Night Gallery. Right now I just want to go to bed!
