News is just breaking so I will look for a source other than Fox News. The judge ruled it unconstitutional but did not put a stay on it yet.

AND would somebody please to tell liberals that the word "Promote" means: to help or encourage to exist or flourish. Amazing how the liberals can twist one word in the Constitution and then insult a person who is correct on its meaning. Unreal.

You are very passionate about our rights under the constitution. I get upset too when they try to twist it into a socialist document. Some Judges have ruled that way and we need to work hard to keep that kind of Judge from having any real power to legislate from the bench.

Another word the Democrats have redefined is "pursuit." They have redefined it to mean "entitled to from the government."

... Senior U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson agreed with the states that the new law violates people's rights by forcing them to buy health insurance by 2014 or face penalties. He went a step further than a previous ruling against the law, declaring the entire thing unconstitutional if the insurance requirement does not hold up...

We on the right were saying Obama care violated the Constitution before it was voted on in Congress. Just goes to show how blind the Democrats are.

That and the fact that they thought they could ram it down America's throat anyway. They knew the people didn't want socialized medicine and also knew they were about to get trashed in the election. It was probably their only chance in the next generation to get that garbage signed into law, so they went for broke.

Sure it costed them, but they also knew it would be difficult to overturn. Those republicans up there better keep the heat on and not fund it at the VERY least. P-Bo knows it's coming and he is trying, by what he said in the SOtU speech, to offer fixing "some" of Obamacare. The republicans don't need to be buying into that junk either. IT SIMPLY NEEDS TO GO AWAY!

I agree with you 100% JR. It's all or nothing with this! There isn't ANY part of the Health Care Law that needs to be kept. Period.

I'm glad that these judges are sticking to the Constitution on this and not falling for the Left's warped mis-information.

Of course the ink wasn't dry on the order before the "Justice" Department announced they would appeal. They may as well save the tax payers money (joke) and just wait for the Supreme Court, because that's where it's headed. My guess is this administration will probably delay it going to the High Court for as long as possible, in hopes that another judge will retire so that P-Bo can stack the deck in his favor.

Unfortunately I think you are right.

The political fallout for Democrats in the next election will be very interesting as they continue to say Obamacare is Constitutional while a federal judge ruled differently. This case will most likely be decided on by the Federal Court of Appeals in Atlanta sometime this year. The Republicans need to find a way to get the repeal legislation on the Senate floor for a vote before or after the appellate court ruling, and before the next election campaign. This issue will severely come back and bite the butt of any Democratic Senator who voted against the repeal. Their Republican opponents will surely use the fact the Democratic candidates running for election don't care what the Constitution says.

This will be very interesting indeed.
