I was reading yesterday that there is a parking lot near the plant in Tenn near one of the F150 plants that has 5000+ brand new F150s in it that are complete except for a few semi conductor based parts they can't get. So the 99.99% complete trucks are sitting there out in the open.

I also read that Rental car companies are having issues getting new cars to replace all those that were sold off quickly at the pandemic because the deluxe models they tend to purchase need lots of semiconductors for the nifty neato features. So travelers are having to set their flights by where they can get a car, not vice versa.

This will drive the cost of late model vehicles up.
