Georgia Cities Week: Dallas Theater Hosts Joe M. Turner to Celebrate

Facebook event page: http://www.facebook.com/events/356320061076392/

The City of Dallas will celebrate Georgia Cities Week 2012 with a fantastic program of visual and psychological illusions presented by metro-Atlanta favorite and Dallas resident Joe M. Turner. Turner is a mentalist and sleight-of-hand magician who frequently performs at corporate events and prominent entertainment venues, often billed as the "Chief Impossibility Officer." The show will take place at 6pm on Tuesday, April 24th, and it is a free event. All seats are first come, first served. The Dallas Theater is located at 208 Main Street in Dallas, Georgia.

Joe M. Turner is a professional speaker and entertainer who has appeared frequently on the Dallas Theater stage. He has performed all over America and last year performed at the London Palladium. Find out more about him at his web site (http://www.turnermagic.com/) or on his Facebook page (http://facebook.com/turnermagic).

Georgia Cities Week gives cities an opportunity to share information about the valuable services cities provide to resident and how cities positively impact their quality of life. The theme reflects the transformational properties of cities and how they provide quality of life through infrastructure, economic development and essential services.

Thanks!

Me and my gazillion grandchildren (who just happen to be the nephews of the Director of the Dallas Theater) will be there!

Even though I have met you, I have never watched you perform and always heard great things about you and your shows. Thank you for doing this show for our community!

I'm going to miss it as I'll be returning to Afghanistan the 21st. I haven't had the opportunity to see one of Joe's shows yet.

Oh, I hate to miss it! I enjoy seeing Joe any chance I get. We actually have two baseball games that evening (one of which is the Senior recognition event.)

Break a leg, Joe. And if you've never seen him perform....you MUST go! :)

Thanks everyone. I'd really appreciate it if you would share the links with your contacts on email, FB, and on any other web sites where you may participate.

Thanks again.

I am told that there is an announcement of the show on some water bills this month. Interesting!

I happened to have mine sitting right next to me, and there was not anything on it, but there was a blurb about the Paulding County Child Advocacy Center.

The photo I saw shows it on a city of Dallas bill underneath a notice about continuing to pick up storm debris through April 6.

That could be it! I am not in the city limits.

I'm not either. I wouldn't have known except that a friend posted a scan on FB.

Just trying to keep this on your radar. Please share it on Facebook and on other networking sites that you may visit, and please invite people to come. It would be great to have a lot of buzz about it and fill the place up.

It is rare that I do a public show that you can enjoy for free, and I hope the community will turn out and enjoy it.

Thanks! Here's the link to share: http://www.facebook.com/events/356320061076392/

Several city web sites are promoting the event. I'd sure appreciate your sharing the Facebook event page with those that you know online - on Facebook, here, and on any other forums where you participate.

Thanks everyone! With a completely free admission, it should be easy to fill the place even on a Tuesday. Since it's an early show, hopefully we'll be able to get families to come out.

I appreciate your help!
