Now that Dallas Hwy has been up and running for awhile, we'd like to get some feedback from it's members as to how we can make it even better. We don't want to add too many forums and make the site really crowded, but we could probably add a couple more if needed. For example, I was sorta thinking about a fitness/weight loss forum if the villagers would be interested in such and support it. Let me know what you think about that.

And share with us any other helpful suggestions you might have. Dallas Hwy has always been a forum "of the people and by the people" (seems like I've heard that phrase somewhere before) so your continued input is valued and welcome. :)
 
Well, well....let's see...

A Dallas Hwy Garage for car talk, pics and such. We need a mechanic on here to give helpful tips or answer questions. You know, like changing the air in your tires every six months....stuff like that.

Just thinking out loud 8) It might even get PSD to posting more.

Are there any options available to change the skin color? I have been remodeling a lake house up on Lake Gaston a cousin just purchased and he has no plans on getting any internet connection there. I have to drive 10 miles to catch the closest wifi hotspot and it's damn near impossible to read this site on a laptop sitting in my truck. No big deal, but was just wondering as I am heading back up there tomorrow for a couple of weeks

To the best of my low tech knowledge, the forum theme and skins are pretty much set. The dreaded thong wearing Guard Dad and I have talked about it with Nick and it's something that I believe is possible, but it may be a little while. We've tried not to bug Nick too much since he's been busy, but it is something for us to work on. Thanks for hanging in there with us 8)

It would be helpful if you wouldn't mind monitoring the forum and offering your suggestions, etc. to questions/concerns related to automotive issues. That would be FABULOUSO! :race :DN

I'm not picky but it would be nice to have things move on the board in the other direction. lol. I tried to put a negative sign in front of 'move' but that didn't work.

You're talking about code re-writing there, and that's waaaaaay over my head.

The only way I was able to make it work is to turn my monitor upside down. Too much trouble...
