Goodbye to the venerable LLV (Long Life Vehicle)

I found a copy of the requirements document sent out that the potential manufacturers had to meet.

Here are the top three requirements:
1. Must be ugly
2. Must be ugliest vehicle every produced
3. Did we mention it should be ugly?

The Ford one looks OK but the other two are hideous.

They are probably where I'm at for my service trucks; don't really care how ugly as long as they are reliable, functional and get decent fuel mileage.

Having said...most of the newer vans (meaning all but the Chevy/GMC) are ugly, with the Nissan possibly taking the blue ribbon for ugly.

The Postal Service is claiming it's nearly broke and needs money from Congress. If they need money; they need to start charging Amazon what they charge us to mail a package.

Amazon has cut waaaaay back on shipping with them. It appears that most parcels are going via their own carrier.

Everything I get from Amazon now comes to be via UPS. I have not received a delivery from Amazon Logistics in months.

I've had a few smaller items come USPS. (single DVD, lawnmower parts, etc.)

What i haven't seen for a while are the packages that go UPS --> USPS --> home where they use USPS for last mile only.

I have yet to receive a package from Amazon's own vehicles. Mine have always been delivered UPS or USPS. Most of the time it's USPS.
