A few months ago I might have taken you up on that! I do find it so much harder to stay motivated to exercise in the winter. I really am not a gym person and have to make myself walk and do pilates when I really would just rather crawl into bed!

Now that the weather is getting nice I love getting out and walking. Once the pool warms up I will have my weights out and be working out and tanning at once.

Anyone that likes to walk let me know. I always welcome company that actually speaks. (I take my dog with me. :) )
 
Our dog likes to walk.

But only as far as he likes. When he's done, he simply comes to a dead stop in the road and won't budge until I tell him "Ok, we are going back." Then he's all waggy tail and ready to go again.

Plus, he likes to make multiple sniff stops.
 
Mac is somewhat familiar with my journey because we both come from a fitness site. But I put on gobs of weight when I quit smoking about 25 years ago, and I got pretty fat over time. I lost some of the weight a few years ago, backslid after some surgery, had a couple more false starts before getting my noggin screwed on straight. Now I'm somewhat of a fitness nut and I've started trying to help others who want to lose weight and/or get fit. That's why I got involved with the group at church.
 
My doctor told me how to lose 20 lbs of ugly fat FAST! :eek:
