I'm getting conflicting info for the best place to plant blueberries. Soil that stays moist or no? I've got the sun part worked out. Hubby has been a busy boy around here lately.
I have blueberries that were planted by the previous owner...the soil is pretty moist, and mostly in shade. They do fabulously. My father's blueberries were in dry soil and full sun and they didn't do anywhere near as well as these do. But this soil is very loamy and not packy, like clay.
I do believe hubby may have found/created a created spot for them. Everything you read tells you sun ... and the soil is rich, loose, and moist and gets full southern exposure. fingers crossed, fingers crossed, fingers crossed
