Eh, it never hurts to hear a compliment.

It's really helpful in cases where you need encouragement. Case in point, losing weight. It makes it all worthwhile when someone notices and says something nice to you about it.

One time I went home (whenever I worked a human's shift) with a couple of asprins in my hand. I'll held them in my fist, out to Mrs. Reacher. She held her hand out and I dropped them. She said, "What's this"? I said "Asprin". She said, "Why you giving them to me? I don't have a headache". I took them back and said "Good. That's all I needed to know" 8)

It is really is nice to hear a complement once in a while.

I always heard it takes 10 compliments to make up for 1 insult or negative comment. I need to work harder on handing out the good things. It makes me feel special so why shouldn't I dish them out. Just a thought.
