My mother in law's family had a recipe that was almost all alcohol... it was so smooth, my aunt, (a teetotaler,) who claimed she could taste alcohol because it tastes like cough syrup... kept helping herself to it at our family Christmas party in the 90's. My cousins said don't say a thing....

They loved the fact it was so full of alcohol, but the cream, sugar and egg yolk made it yummy.... I need to dig out that recipe. Sadly my aunt passed a decade ago. She always wore a pin at Christmas "Jesus is the Reason for the Season". I miss her.
