Some friends and I are wanting to start an in home Bible Study together. Anyone have any suggestions on book or guide to use?

Seriously though, you could set a goal of going through the entire Bible from front to back. I've been in some where you pick somebody ahead of time to lead the lesson and they pick a subject matter they feel is interesting. "What did Jesus really mean when he said, "Render onto Ceaser what is Ceaser's?"
