Not only does he let his dogs run over here onto my property all the flippin' time now that the weather is nice ...

He likes to sit outside and listen to his music LOUD and carry on a conversation with his friend EVEN LOUDER and they are most surely drinking heavily and they seem to like the drop the F bomb A LOT.

So much for a nice evening on the front porch with a glass of wine just relaxing and enjoying the evening air.

(pretty sure I heard him fire off a few rounds earlier today, too)

We've got 60 acres waiting on hubby's retirement. At this point, can't get here fast enough.
 
I would go crazy if I lived in a subdivision. The only downside is I never seem to win Yard Of The Month. :))

No YOTM here ... no HOA or anything like that. When we bought here we had a hard time deciding between being on property or being in a Sub. We chose a Sub because our son was an only child at the time and we wanted him to have at least the opportunity for the social aspect at Sub can provide. I'm sorry now that we chose to go this route. We could had had more room and less neighbor stress if we'd gone on a few acres and then could have just made the effort to get him to activities for the social stuff.

I feel your pain. We have the guy a couple of houses down that I've named Donnie that sits in a lawn chair with a cooler of beer at the end of his driveway. He lives with his mom and must be at least 30.

And I just watched the people across the street pull in the driveway and hit their own minivan. OMG. I can't wait to get out of here.
 
Unionmom, sorry I missed you today. You are always welcome here, it's quiet most of the time. Spent the evening on the porch enjoying the freshly mowed yard and the wonderful spring day.

Next time just load up the younguns and head this way, it's only a few miles. :love
 
I don't even have young-uns ... just me here today/tonight.

Things have quieted down. (probably passed out next door) I'm getting ready to go lay on my ice and watch a movie then go to bed.

When we had 10 acres with a lake, my time was spent running off trespassers. :rant Give me a HIGH Rise, beach front condo with a pool, a balcony and NO yardwork and I'll be a happy man :DN

I love my woods. Our biggest problem is the occasional neighbor's dog chasing the cats and a big fat raccoon who eats everything we put out for the birds and cats. That sucker can even reach and pull himself up on a 42" high feeding platform. I'll take feathered turkeys over the human kind any day.

I dont know. I was drinking heavily, talking to myself, dropped a ton of F bombs and was shooting carpenter bees with a BB gun.

Speaking for myself, I enjoy bumble bee badminton. My personal best it 25 yards :DN

I must brag and say that I killed 2 carpenter bees in mid air with a bb gun and shot the third ones right wing in half. I mercy killed the third one when I found him. Tennis rackets are fun, whiffle ball bats are challenging, bb guns are down right frustrating.
