I have a favor to ask of my dallashwy.com friends. Will you please vote in the run-off election this Tuesday, August 21, 2012 and consider voting for my friend, Bill Carruth? As most of you know, Bill Carruth is running against Bill Heath for the 31st District Senate seat.
I have known Bill, his wife Laura and his Mother, Jerri for about 25 years now and I can say without reservation that they are great people and that they love our community and District! I have weighed the pros and cons on each of the candidates and while I understand there is not a perfect candidate out there, I believe Bill Carruth is the better person for the job.
The person elected to this position will have influence on decisions that greatly affect our lives and after taking everything into consideration on both candidates, I trust Bill Carruth to make better decisions for the residents of Paulding County and the District. I feel Bill Carruth will listen to the people he represents and make our concerns his top priority.
Voter turnout will probably be low on Tuesday so EVERY vote will count in this election. Thank you for taking time to read this and I hope each and every one of you have a good week!
