I have a really bad feeling about where this one is headed:

Two children killed, two other family members injured in Gwinnett home

Police on Thursday continued to investigate after two young brothers were killed and two other family members seriously injured in a Gwinnett County home Wednesday night.

All four members of the same family were either shot or stabbed in their basement apartment near Lawrenceville, Cpl. Jake Smith told the AJC. Investigators said two boys, ages 1 and 4, were dead at the scene. Another 4-year-old boy was flown to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in critical condition.

A man identified as the boys' father or stepfather was taken by ambulance to Gwinnett Medical Center in serious condition, Smith said. None of the victims' names was released...

The man who was shot in the house says it was the mother's ex-boyfriend.
 
Update ...

Gwinnett County police said Thursday they have a suspect in custody in the shocking attack that left two young boys dead and two other family members seriously injured at a house near Lawrenceville Wednesday night.

The suspect's name was not immediately released. Police have called an 11:30 a.m. news conference...

Apparently the man that was injured in the attack told a neighbor that it was an ex-boyfriend of the mother.
...The father came charging into Lewon Thomas' garage "with a hole in his chest," holding a cell phone and talking to a 911 operator, Thomas said.

"He wanted me to go back and see what happened," said Thomas, who went along with another neighbor. "It was horrific."

Thomas said he did not know the father's name, but knew him casually and occasionally loaned him tools. Thomas said the father believed he knew who was responsible.

Gwinnett County police have charged a 28-year-old man in the stabbing deaths of 1- and 3-year-old boys who were found dead in a house near Lawrenceville Wednesday night.

Antonio Cardenas-Rico is being held without bond. Police will release more details on the case at an 11:30 a.m. news conference.

Police said Cardenas-Rico killed 3-year-old Bradley Garcia and 1-year-old Edward Garcia. Another 3-year-old boy also was stabbed in the attack and was critically wounded. Their father, Elvis Garcia, was stabbed multiple times and was in serious condition...

If he's guilty, it will be interesting to find out what his motive was. I wonder if he's an illegal?

And now it seems that I was right. Dammit. :( Those poor kids. Just because he was mad at the mother for going out with another man. So very sad and infuriating.
 
And he thought that plan would reunite them? I can't type what I'm thinking about him.
 
Actually, the father didn't do it. The man in the house (the boyfriend) did it and stabbled himself and blamed the father.

It is my understanding that the man in the house is the father. He and the mother are no longer together. The man that he blamed was the new boyfriend. The boyfriend has a wife and children in Las Vegas and is an illegal. (That's according to last night's news, anyway.)

Regardless ... the man that was stabbed at the same time as the children, the one claiming to be a victim is who I was saying was the bad guy.
 
yeah thats sad.. poor kids did not deserve that.. they were inocent victims. and then for the boyfriend to blame the other man.. wow.. glad they figured the truth out.
 
I just checked the story again ... they have dropped the charges against the boyfriend and have now charged the father with murder. The father is the one that was in the house and was also stabbed. http://www.wsbtv.com/news/26852680/detail.html
 
They have charged the father with the crimes. He was arrested in 2009 for something but Gwinnett Police could not check his immigration status with ICE because they were not on the program yet. The suspected killer is an illegal. He should have been deported before he could hurt children in America. >:D

I was going by the last news report I heard before posting that. Leave it to the news media to screw information up.
