As y'all know, I don't have kids. But I freak out the same way about my nephews. 15yo nephew's youth group (WHY do these stupid idiot youth ministers think up crap like this?!?!?) decided that a 2-week mission trip to a children's home in Guatemala would be just the thing this summer. Before the words were even out of their mouths, I said, "NO." They said, but it's doing such great work for this children's home. I said NO!!! And then I forwarded them the State Dept.'s web site info on travel advisories for Guatemala. It scared me to death just reading it. After much ado, they finally did say no.

Back to my question - why do these youth ministers think this crap up? Like there's not enough poor people who need help in Johnson City, TN? Or if they want to go somewhere, an Indian reservation out west? Sheesh.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger. I signed the Boy up for a church camp in June. I'm already stressing. He'll be gone Monday through Friday and he'll be next to a lake without my supervision.

Crap! What was I thinking?!?!?!?

That's how I felts as I was saying yes to him going to summer camp with the Boy Scouts! I'm sure I will be a wreck when the time comes!

I know right!! They packed alot of stuff into those 3 days! She said Lion King on Broadway was just simply amazing! She had an awesome time! As most of you know she is going to major in Musical Theater and visiting NYC was a dream of hers. Her favorite of all times musical is Wicked. She is 100% obsessed with it! While in NYC she saw lots of Wicked stuff and was just beside herself. One of her friends found a Wicked picture with the original cast autographs on it and bought it for her. You would have thought she was given a million dollars :laugh

She said that one was going on her wall in her dorm room. I have a feeling her room will be decorated in Wicked stuff. )

Ok Im all better now....babygirl is home safe and sound :cheer1 :cheer1 She had an amazing trip she said. She got to go Rockafeller plaza, saw Lion King on Broadway, to china town, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and she said they visited Ground Zero. She said that was very emotional. She is completely exhausted but said it was all well worth it!

I'm just glad my baby girl is home safe and sound :love

LOL yeah I know that's right..lol I have my 13 year old son to keep me hoping to..his schedule is insane at times. lol
