Obama's campaign staff has been very concerned about how well Biden will perform at the VP debate. Frustration levels have been very high the past week as they rehearse with him. It appears Biden cannot remember what he's supposed to say, so staffers have made it very easy for him.

His answer for each question, regardless what it's about will be, "Osama bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive!"

LOL, Foxnews was just talking about that and his line he keeps using. They think it going to back fire on him big time when Ryan gets fired up. Biden better get his index cards ready! lol

LOL I was watching the same thing on FoxNews and that's what prompted me to make the post.

Well, I think Teh Sarah beat him, and Ryan could be considered more experienced in such things than she. However, ol' Joe has a mean streak a mile wide, and I wouldn't put anything past him. See article below. Truly, a detestable creature.

I hope Biden shows his bully side; I really do. It won't hurt him with the Democratic followers, but it will kill him with the independents.

According to some reports I've heard this morning, don't be too disappointed if there aren't any "Joe Gaffes". They are saying his gaffes usually come in uncontrolled environments or when he gets excited. :dunno

Like Obama, he's an excellent speech regurgitator. He is also a so-so debater, but the first rule of effectively carrying a debate is knowledge of the subject. That puts Joe at a distinct disadvantage.

I personally believe that he will avoid direct statements of policy and direct answers to specific questions and try to stick to the script provided by Talking Points Memo. If he does as I suspect, the Liberals will have that tingly feeling all over, and Republicans will be left shaking their head at why so many people believe that crap. I don't think any fence sitters will be swayed.

Most importantly, I don't see any real melt down like Obama unless you view avoiding the questions as a meltdown, which the MSM won't. Quite frankly, if the media hadn't fainted over the fact that their chosen one was vulnerable, the great unwashed who will decide this race would have never known that there was a Presidential debate. You can bet that there will be nothing but rainbows and unicorns gracing the airwaves tomorrow.
