Both are just appetizers when compared to what I ate in Korea for two years. Some of that stuff even scared me, but I didn’t want to offend any of the old women who prepared it.Sardines are right down there at the bottom of a food group with Sushi. I tried a sardine once,,, gagged on the little bones.
I walked thru the street market every time I left the base to go home since lived in the village. Before retirement, I worked in the corporate HQ for an international company. We had people there from all over the globe. The Koreans would tell me that in Korea, if it moved, they ate it. Rats, mice, bugs, dogs, cats, anything. And you could get all of that from the street vendors on most city streets.
