Has anyone ever gone to one of these?? It sounds like fun and I found out the other day a dear friend of mine, Leslie Goldsmith actually does this for Olive Tree. She's an awesome person. :love

Yes. We have been to Agatha's and done one of the dinner theaters at Olive Tree (not the Hiram one) They are lots of fun and for not much more than dinner you get a show that is interactive.

I've always wanted to do one of these. For the local ones, we haven't been able to make it work with our schedules. Hopefully soon, though!

We had a couple dinner theaters near where I lived in Chicago. One was called Candlelight Theater. The dining room was round and had a balcony, the stage was in the center but the floor opened up and the stage actually rose up. It was very cool and a very popular prom dinner destination.

Our local grocery store would occasionally have a type of scratch off game that you could win tickets to one of several in the Chicago area. I won tickets twice, once to a theater downtown Chicago for a play and another time to see Suzanne Sommers and Rich Little. That stage was also cool, it was also round but it rotated very slowly so everyone could see the performance.

Yea, I miss having those things close by. I'm sad my kids haven't experienced stuff like this, it's generally very expensive. Nothing like a live performance.

They're so much fun and you get to be a part of the show. It's a blast!

We've done one and it was fun. We may try to make it to the 3/30 show in Hiram.
