to have to be buying a new refrigerator. Spent a small medium fortune on a wedding dress this past weekend and last night our fridge went out. I can't really complain though, we got 22 good years out of it. Is it just me or can anyone else hear the distinct sounds of money being sucked out of your wallet?

We are putting in a pool. SUCK SUCK SLURP! A hole in the backyard you throw money in. lol

How much did you drop on the wedding dress? (Asketh Nosy Nellie)
Let's put it this way, I ask the Queen how much she needed for the 60% non-refundable deposit so I could take care of it before I skipped town to intentionally miss all the girly activities last weekend. I was told the dress would cost somewhere between $2500 and $3500 which was in the ballpark of what I was expecting. When I got back into town I was finally told the actual price, let's just say they low balled it, that was just a little over half of the total cost. When the fridge went out last night I told the Queen that I'd have to go get a few styrofoam coolers at the fish bait store.

Pretty common price from what I hear. Ye gods. I'm all for looking nice, but good heavens - that is just crazy money.

No offense to your lovely non-Bridezilla daughter. ;)

No offense taken. They actually had a fun time, no drama, and she finally found her "perfect" dress Sunday. I'm not sure if it's proper to post a pic of it prior to the wedding so I'm temped but not going to do it. She does look beautiful in it so I'm not going to complain about the dress, but the fridge wasn't really in the budget this month.
