Our poor little airport

I know been listening to them do clean up of jet fuel on 5 flipped over planes. Not sure what all is damaged out there, but one of the SO's said it was pretty extensive.

WSB just reported "sheet metal" all over the place including "wrapped around trees, 10-12 feet above ground."

Hear it on the scanner when the report came in, the SO said 5 planes belly up, hanger 50% gone, and fuel spilling

Must have been one heck of a storm that came through the area. Any damage elsewhere in the county?

Fox there is a lot of damage here. I know of one confirmed touchdown, not sure of the confirmation of the others. One of the elementary schools has roof damage & overturned trailers, many people are reporting roofs gone. It is still dark. I am sure many do not know the extent of the damage. :(
I will say it could have been worse. We have friends in a town in Indiana that have lost their homes, where they attend school, and a business. I thank God it was not as wide spread devastation here. I also have not heard of any deaths. (Pray it stays that way.)

WSB just showed some nasty damage "a few miles SW of the Paulding County airport" ... it wasn't a really wide tornado but for those in its narrow track, it didn't matter. Ugly.

And looking now at coverage of the damage at Poole. Ugly. No school for the Poole kids on Monday would be my guess. (And a little "thank you!" that it happened on a Friday night and not during the school day.)

Getting a lot of free (though unfortunate) advertising. More and more folks now know that we have it.

I had a friend post about damage at Ragsdale too. (Olympiad was to be held their but because of damage it was canceled.) Has anyone heard that? I am wondering if in the crazy confusion last night she posted the wrong school.
