Sensitivity is wicked low.... you're going to need some power to push that to where it needs to go.

( nice bottom end tho'.)
That's one of the ways they get that kind of bottom end from a small speaker/small box; they attenuate the mids and highs. And yep, it hurts efficiency and ultimately maximum output levels.

Personally, I would give it some of it's efficiency back and run a sub. But, I run subs with almost everything. Me likey da boom boom.

Klipsch AW-650 outdoor speakers. High-end stuff for outdoor speakers, best I've ever heard. I've had a pair in the pool area for 6 years or so now and they still play like new.

These are being replaced by a new model, on sale for $290 and the new models are about $600. They won't be around for long.

So, I bought a pair of these to go outside the boat door in the basement.

I had an old pair pf Polk Patio speakers there. Years ago, the kids threw too much gas at them when they were in the pool area, and fried the woofers. I replaced them several years ago with some Goldwood poly woofers. They sound good, but the cabinets sometimes rattle under heavy bass notes.

So I replaced them with these Klipsch. Man, they sound good! Best outdoor speakers I've ever heard, and they last.
