This is not an anti-gay post, it's a "let children be children" post.

A 9 year old is still a piece of clay, being molded by their environment into what they will someday become. They are still trying to decide whether they like mustard or ketchup on hot dogs, who is the greatest baseball player of all time, and whether or not girls have cooties.

They are not ready to deal with sexuality, one way or another, and certainly not ready to choose or decide which way they swing.

Leave our children the hell alone and let them be children. Let them develop naturally, without influencing them with stuff they are not yet ready to understand or deal with. This also goes for gender reassignment. IMO, to allow and certainly to encourage a minor to play copy and paste with their genitalia is child abuse.

This pisses me off to no end! When will this madness end?

I had this argument with a family member of my wife's a few days ago. She is a teacher and was trying to tell me that when this 3rd grader walked in her room she could tell he was gay. I countered with "Bullsnot".

I told her the kid was too young to know what he wanted. It is society that decides what behavior / dress is "male" and "female" and that trying to force the kid into a sexuality based on a look is all *her* biases, not the kids inner desires. Let him be a kid and figure out what he wants to do.

She came from a fairly conservative home too. The Libs have ruined the college system. (She's a UGA Grad)
