Well, I am back finally to my home base. I thought I wasn't going to make it back before Christmas. Visibility for the choppers the last two days has been terrible causing those flights to be cancelled. Yesterday, I posted not only here, but on FB as well asking my friends and family to pray I get a flight out today so I could be back to Skype with my grandchildren tomorrow watching them open up their Christmas presents.

I said a prayer last night and went outside and saw a single star in the sky. That single star told me God was going to answer those prayers. This morning visibility was a lot better, but not good enough for the choppers and they cancelled those flights. There was a fixed wing embassy flight coming in and then it was going to be taking off to where I had to go. I was told the embassy flights did not normally allow contractors on their flights; only active duty military. The Air Force sergeant Ii was dealing with sent the embassy people an email before the flight arrived asking if I could get on it. The answer was, "yes." I believe God put it into he heart of the person making the decision to approve my boarding the plane.

Praise God!!!

Thankful for answered prayers! I hope you enjoy the grandchildren! Merry Christmas!
