Apparently Reese W. and her family are here in Atlanta for awhile while she's filming some movie or other. So the other night, she and husband were arrested - he for DUI and she for disorderly conduct. (Miss Reese is Old Nashville Money, and knows better. Full name is Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon; I'm guessing Reese is her Mama's maiden name.)

Anyhoo, the reason I'm posting is not for the news of the arrest...I don't care about that. But the police report is hilarious. Read the officer's detailed (and droll) write-up about what happened and how he responded to her.

Election is her best work... one of my favorite films.

I admit she was in one of my favorite movies, but if you've been around any GSP Troopers for any amount of time, you'll know they are clearly ALL business and don't take crap off of anyone. She would have had better luck with APD, but I reckon she was a little too blasted to tell the difference. As I heard this morning, she at least realized she was being an idiot and apologized instead of making it worse.

A word to the wise, don't waste a Trooper's time 8)

But, but, but ... so much of it was filmed out where my property it. Pretty sure it's the only reason some of the stores actually have glass in the front windows out there. LOL!

Yup. At least she owned up to it. I doubt many in Hollywood would have the guts and the decency to do so.
