reese witherspoon and husband arrested (funny police report)

I've been mulling this over, and today's papers say she's pulling out of all publicity for her whatever movie she's supposed to be promoting right now. And I don't get it. Tons of people do WAY WORSE and they never pull out of anything. So she's a Hollywood "good girl". She made a bad judgment on account of alcohol, but how many movie people could that be said of? Tens of thousands? Anyhoo, I just don't see how it would hurt her that much. JMHO.

Here is an idea for you: Instead of "demanding a plan" on "gun violence", why don't you "Demand a plan" about DRUNK DRIVING?? Because that kills MORE people than shootings. But, that might actually require you to call a cab BEFORE your husband gets locked up for DWI, with YOU in the car. Seriously, BOTH of you put innocent lives in jeopardy with your reckless, selfish, and dangerous behavior. I consider drunk driving to be the equivalent of premeditated possible attempt murder.....because you never know if you will kill someone. Having scraped a dead child out of a car because of someone like your husband, I have NO sense of humor for this kind of reckless endangerment of others.

That "plan" might also keep you from humiliating yourself by getting hooked up for disorderly conduct for harassing the Trooper, repeatedly interfering in the arrest, and threatening the Trooper with "National exposure" while asking him if he knows WHO you are.

Stay classy, and worry about YOUR side of the street. You really have NO right to demand that someone control MY guns, when you can't even keep YOUR drunk husband out of a car.

There's another picture making the rounds on Facebook regarding her gun position and allowing her husband to drive with a 0.13 bac.

Interesting. I can see now the need for her PR people. I was thinking only about her disorderly conduct arrest...I mean, people can be stupid when they get likkered up, and she apologized, so whatever. BUT the DUI with such a high BAC and the gun control things are pretty stupe, if you ask me. She was raised better.
