Report: Iran military leader Soleimani killed

This guy was a key strategists. We could not risk killing him in the past, because it might start something... what is it that your kids say? ... "But mom, he started it first."

Trump has tempered the response to the provocation. They killed a US Contractor... now how do they like us.

Oh, and by the dems saying before that this might be Trump's Benghazi... is that them effing up and admitting that Hillary and 0'zero were at fault and that it was a big effen deal that our consulate was attacked and Four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens and Navy Seals died? I think so...

But no, this was not Benghazi, because unlike Hillary and 0'zero who went to sleep... Trump had a plan and did not check in early and go to bed.

If you look back at history, ask what was the event which started the 1st world war, hint ( It was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.)

By the United States knocking off this high level Iranian target, could this be the catalyst that will lead to an all out intifada (arabic uprising)? ...kinda like a giant powder keg after the fuse is lit. It's just a matter of time until we hear a big boom. Iran will probably attack Israel in response to the US airstrike. The arab nations (Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Turkey, Etc) would never side with Israel against an arab muslim, so we might just have us an all out war sooner than we think. The drums of war are beating and they're getting a little louder each day.

Of course, I'm rambling on, but think about the biblical parable of the fig tree and tell me where I'm off?

Pelosi and Schiff are having a hissy fit because Congress was not consulted prior to the air strike. https://www.foxnews.com/world/adam-...n-after-airstrike-that-killed-iranian-general

Iran wanted to kill American troops in Iraq; that's why the Iranian general was there. Iran has been using people in Iraq since shortly after we invaded the country to kill American and coalition troops. Iran is going to do everything they can short of actually engaging their military against American troops in that part of the world. They will sponsor terrorist acts, but they will not engage their military troops against us in a conventional war because they do not have any strong capabilities in the air.

Their military aircraft is made up of American F-4s and F-14s, purchased while the shah was still in power. They also have some MiG-29s purchased in 1990. In all, they have no more than 300 fighter jets. Their pilots are all being trained by old Iranian fighter pilots who were trained in our country while the shah was in power. They're learning old tactics that will not serve them well in the air against American fighter pilots. Iran's pilots are not experienced in air combat at all.

Iran knows their lack of air superiority would result in losing a war with us and that's why they will rattle their sabres and participate in the coordination of terrorist attacks around the world against US interests.

Hillary Clinton Slams Trump For Not Taking A More 'Hands-Off' Approach To Embassy Attack

WASHINGTON, D.C—Hillary Clinton has slammed President Trump on Twitter for not taking a more "hands-off" approach to the protests in Iraq that threatened American lives at the embassy there.

After Trump quickly sent Marines to defend Americans trapped at the embassy, Clinton immediately blasted him for taking such "rash, uncalled-for" action when he could have just "waited around a while to see what happens."

"If I were president, I definitely would have let things play out," she said. "Sending American troops to protect American lives seems a little hasty. What if you need to get a little shut-eye or recharge in your lizard person spawning chamber for a few hours?"

"I would have slept on it first."

She later admitted her criticisms might not matter, because, "What difference, at this point, does it make?"

Meanwhile, Americans under siege at the embassy took a few moments to thank God that Hillary Clinton is not the president of the United States.

.

Missiles don't last forever either. I imagine that most of their stock of missiles from that period are way past their "Best if Used By" date. I guess they are getting parts for the F-14s/F-4s off the grey market, but would expect that controls on modern missiles are more strict than on plane parts that multiple countries can be licensed to make.
