Sounds to me like he's making excuses

I hope I get this one so I have real antibodies. I can be fatigued and have a scratchy throat for a few days and get right back to work without a cough or loss of taste or smell... my kind of Covid.

By the way... some "Experts" are admitting this is what viruses do, become more contagious, but less deadly.

All I know is last night was my first night back to the gym after recovering from Covid (mild case at that). It was a double night which meant I had two back to back classes. Even though I paced myself I quickly realized it was going to take some time to get back to the former starting point. I had very little stamina, quickly gave out of breath, and had to take several water breaks. I'm sure some was from just the fact that I hadn't been to the gym in over 3 weeks but it was also clear that my strength and cardio had suffered a major setback. Tonight's Hapkido class will be the test, it's usually the most challenging and demanding of the three. I'm just hoping to get through the entire class so I've set the bar very low.

Several months later, I'm still not back to normal (whatever normal is)

Many of my employees I saw that same thing... it may take a month.

One employee who got it December 2020 has underlying conditions. Never was in the hospital, but was in bed a good month, took several months to be able to work more than 3 or 4 days a week once he came back to work. He tried to work, and even at his lunch break, you could see he was ready to go home, many times he did. He was very fit and in his 40's. His doctor said take it slow, go out for walks and build himself back up.

Good to work out... be cautious you don't over do it.

I made it a little better tonight. Warm-up was half court basketball, I was able to hang in there and even scored a few times. I let the young ones chase the ball down (wisdom). I paced myself again and even sat down a few times but overall it went well. It's just good to be back with the normal routine.
