With St. Patrick's Day being this Saturday, we are expecting are a million visitors to our fair city. Those are the latest estimates. The Chief wants to go to town for the parade. I would just as soon stay home. Downtown is going to be a zoo.
 
I say go and have a great time! Yes, it's going to be crowded, but it's St. Paddy's Day and it MUST be properly celebrated in Savannah!

I have a bunch of friends coming to Savannah this weekend. I wouldn't get within 100 miles of Savannah. I can only imagine what it will be like..it was crazy when I was there a few weekends ago! Don't blame you Callahan for wanting to stay home..lol There will be NO WHERE to park
 
I wouldn't stay home. I'd LEAVE TOWN. :shudder: I hate stuff like that. I can function fine in teeming masses, but when it's a protracted thing that spills over into other things/times/areas, it gets on my nerves big-time. That's why I like to stay home for major holidays...everyrthing is so quiet; the hubbub is somewhere else.

We can be fuddy together. I never do anything, either. I had major nose surgery once on St. Patrick's Day. Major as in 4 1/2 hours and they had to break my nose away from my face. But it looks good now, and far more important, it WORKS well now.
