The Dems will want a "balanced ticket". That means if an old white guy is at the top of the ticket, which looks inevitable at this time, they will want a woman, a black woman if possible as the VP.
My guess is either Kamla or Amy.

Or Michelle Obama. Maybe that is why Barack hasn't endorsed anyone yet.

I would say the Presidential nomination would have been handed to her if she wanted it. Maybe sometime in the future but for now I don’t think she’s interested in running for anything. I think Barack was hoping that Cory Booker or Kamla would have gotten the nomination. Since they won’t , he will end up supporting the eventual nominee whoever it is. I don’t think he cares for Sanders, but he will support him too if he’s the nominee.

Agreed on the balanced part, but a female VP has been done by the GOP before with Sarah. They may be thinking they will get another "first" to crow about if they select an young, openly gay person which will appeal more to the younger generation and the sexually diverse crowd.
